Proudly Serving Families In Southern Illinois

We proudly serve families from Herrin, Marion, Carterville, Johnston City, and surrounding communities. Our dedicated team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) works closely with each child and family to support meaningful progress and long-term success.

What to Expect During Your Child’s First ABA Sessions

Starting ABA therapy can feel overwhelming for families, but at The Autism Clinic in Herrin, we strive to make the process smooth and supportive from day one. During the first few sessions, your child will work one-on-one with a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a calm and engaging environment. The goal in these early sessions is to build trust, get to know your child’s interests, and create a positive experience with therapy.

Our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) observe these sessions and gather information to develop a personalized treatment plan. This plan focuses on meaningful goals, such as improving communication, reducing challenging behaviors, or developing social skills. Parents are always kept informed, and caregiver training begins early to ensure support continues at home. We believe therapy works best when families are active participants from the very beginning.
