Tips for Success

  • Provide clear, step-by-step instructions.
  • Let children take their time.
  • Allow students to opt out of any sensory experience they find uncomfortable.
  • Always supervise activities with glue or paint.
  • Celebrate creativity, not perfection.

With a little planning, art class can become a welcoming space for every child to shine.
